What kinds of experiences are recruiters expected? What professional developments can be envisaged? Our job description on the function of financial director takes stock.

Overview of training

The position of financial director is open to applicants with at least a bac + 5, most often in management, finance and accounting. The preferred route remains the passage through a large school whose demanding training gives direct access to key positions in the field of finance. Business and management schools, such as ESCG or HEC, can in particular offer a Higher Diploma in Accounting and Management (DSCG), ideal for being promoted to positions of responsibility in these two fields. Benefiting from this work-study training is undoubtedly a major asset in view of the experience and the professional network that this allows to acquire.
